For the third year in a row, the winning video from The Greatest Save Teen Public Service Announcement contest came from Matanzas High School: Tyler Allen and Brian Heil’s video, “The Victim,” featured students from both high schools. Watch it at www.TheGreatestSave.org.
 

+ Check, please! Matanzas recognized for blood drives
Robin Lindsey, from Florida’s Blood Centers, presented Matanzas High School with a $1,100 check for participating in the Hero Scholarship Program.

Teacher Kathy Summerlot coordinates the blood drives. The check was for participation in two blood drives last fall. The money will go toward scholarships.
