This weekend: FFA to host open farm day

Horses, cattle, goats and pigs await! The Bunnell FFA will host an open house 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at its farm, 840 County Road 13, Bunnell. The event will educate the public about the importance of agriculture and the opportunities in FFA. There will also be games and educational activities.
 

Leprechaun hunt in the park
Can you find the leprechaun? The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area, 3100 S. Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach, will hide a leprechaun in the park March 16 and 17.

Visitors are invited to find the leprechaun to win a bike or kayak rental for two people. The first person to find the leprechaun should bring it to the ranger station to redeem it for a rental certificate for two people. The leprechaun will be hidden two times each day. Park entry fees apply.

Kick butts, clean the beach
Flagler County Students Working Against Tobacco will host a beach cleanup 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 16, at 5th St. N., Flagler Beach.
