Mean Mr. Mud-stard

2:13 p.m. — 1700 Block of Palm Road. Simple or aggravated assault. The victim told a Volusia County Sheriff’s Deputy the suspect “battered her by throwing dirt on her,” according to the report.

The victim said the suspect was upset there was so much mud and water in his driveway, which was the result of the victim over watering her driveway.

After a verbal argument, the suspect retrieved a shovel, scooped up some mud and threw it on the victim's vehicle. Then, according to the report, he scooped some more mud and threw it on the victim.

The victim contacted the Sheriff's Office and the suspect fled. The responding deputy was unable to locate a shovel in plain view and was unable to locate the suspect for an interview.

The victim didn’t report any injuries.
