The Riviera Country Club held its Pro-Am March 15. The winners are listed as follows:
Low Pro: Bob Skanes 72
Low Net: Jim Stone 64
1st: Jim Vodenicker, Gordon Swire, Dave Fardell and Bill Feeney 123; 2nd: Scott Stone, Jim Stone and Bob Milne 124.
Jim Baliker shot a hole-in-one on the second hole at the Pro-Am.
The club also held the Ladies Member-Guest, themed as "Mardis Gras at The Riv," March 13. The winners are listed as follows:
Low Gross Team: Linda McMillan, Janice Wilson, Jan DeMirco and May Jacques
Low Net Team: Pat Milne, Mary Churchill, Marge Gee and Val McNicholl

The Ormond Beach cheer team took second place March 2, at the Daytona Dazzler Cheer Competition.
The team is led by coach George Postell, as part of the class he instructs at the Nova Community Center. The class is offered for girls and boys 8 years and older.

Softball tryouts: Want to be a Renegade?
The Ormond Beach Lady Renegades fast-pitch softball organization will hold tryouts for its high school team from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 23 and Saturday, March 30, at the Buttleman’s softball fields at the Ormond Beach Sports Complex.
