No ifs, ands or headbutts
12:57 p.m. — 100 Block of Yonge Street. Simple or aggravated assault. An Ormond Beach police officer made contact with the victim, who said that he was recently fired from his job and his former boss sent him a text message saying if he didn't return his office key, he wasn't going to get his final paycheck.
The victim told the officer that when he entered the store, the suspect told him he wasn't going to get his last paycheck and then headbutted him on the forehead. He also told police that before the suspect headbutted him, he tried to slap the phone out of his hand.
The suspected denied headbutting the victim and told police the victim actually placed his hands on him.
The suspect wrote the victim his final paycheck and then had him trespassed from the store. The victim told police he didn't want to pursue charges.
