Archery out of range
11 a.m. — 100 Block of Colina Place. Vandalism. When the victim's air conditioning unit stopped working, he went outside to investigate. That's when he discovered an arrow shot through it.
The house behind the victim’s home has a bow and arrow target set up in its backyard, the victim told police. According to the report, the arrow came from that direction.
A resident at the home with the target told police several people live there and shoot at the target, and it was most likely an accident because there haven’t been problems between the neighbors.
Beer run ... literally
10:12 p.m. — 600 Block of S. Nova Road. Shoplifting. An unknown suspect entered a convenience store and B-lined for the back, where the alcohol is located, a clerk told police.
The suspect then grabbed an 18-pack of Bud Light and an 18-pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon and exited the store without paying. He then began to run westbound toward Hand Avenue and dropped the 18-pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon, according to the report.
The clerk said the store wished to pursue charges and gave police a copy of the surveillance footage.
