Three cheers for Buddy Taylor singers!
The Buddy Taylor Middle School Festival Chorus, under the direction of Ann Paris, received the top rating of Superior at their District Music Performance Assessment Festival last week. The group sang two songs and were required to sight read two songs.
Chorus members are Mitzy Zavaleta, Charley Young, Brittany Da Silva, Yaala Vitalien, Kayla Wegener, Vanzuuk Kiana, Ciara Sprague, Samantha Shumaker, Amanda Schubert, Catie Rami, Avery Pitts, Grace Newton, Mackenzie Moore, Skylar Lovelady, Kiona Lane, Victoria King, Lacey Jackson, Katie Hall, Brianna Flaschner, Erica Epler, Julia Delic, Sydney Cuthbert, Alexis Colpoys, Allison Cochran, Adriana Coates, Dalphny Café, Cherokee Brown, Joy Brown, Stormy Branning, Jordan Bogden, Ashia Barnes and Kennedy Abshire.
FPC History Team qualifies for nationals
The Flagler Palm Coast High School History Club competed in the National History Bee and Bowl on Saturday, March 16. The team competed against 16 other schools and managed to make it to the qualifying round of the nationals level.
Rymfire Problem Solvers push for blinker use
A Community Problem Solvers group at Rymfire Elementary School is focused on informing the community on how important it is to use blinkers when driving.
The group has designed posters and is planning to hand them out at stop signs around Publix, Winn Dixie, and Target. They also researched the history of blinkers and how they have been improved.
Students in the blinker group are Layla Walls, Elizabeth Ward, Daijah Stride, Michelle Bereznyak, Teagan Clayton, Anika Chen, Marsha Bien-Anime, Aedan Celestino, David Wilcox, Spencer Smith and Reece Villaverde.
