The County Council voted to relocate Redbox-type renting machines to high-use library locations, including one in Ormond Beach.

The Volusia County Council unanimously voted March 21 to relocate exterior lending machines from the Holly Hill Regional Library to higher-use locations, including the Ormond Beach Regional Library, at 30 S. Beach St.
The machine will allow patrons to borrow DVD movies after the library's closing.
The County Council said the machine, similar to Redbox movie machines found outside of local Publix or Walmart stores, was getting little use at the Holly Hill location.
There will be a restriction of one DVD rental per card, and one renewal per rental.
