5:52 p.m. One Hundred Block of Cypress Point Parkway. Larceny Shoplifting.
A deputy responded to a retail store in reference to shoplifting. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with a store associate and a female suspect. The store associate stated he saw the suspect remove a package of hair ties valued at $2.17 from the display and conceal them in her pants.
As the store associate observed, the suspect then continued to the front of the store, passing all points of sale. The store associate then escorted the suspect back to the loss prevention offices. The suspect was arrested on shoplifting charges.
March 20
Stolen sticker
9:30 a.m. One Hundred Block of Old Kings Road. Petit Theft.
A deputy responded to a call of a stolen motor vehicle decal. Making contact with the female victim, the deputy was told her decal must have been stolen the previous day while doing errands.
She advised the deputy that the decal was surely on the license the day before and must have been stolen while she was at Publix, Home Depot, or Walmart.
The victim noticed the sticker missing that morning and attempted to purchase a replacement at the tax collector's office, who advised her to report it stolen before she could pay for a new decal. There is no suspect or witness information at this time.
Unlucky pump
9:54 a.m. One Hundred Block of Brunswick Lane. Larceny
A deputy responded to a delayed larceny from a motor vehicle. The victim advised the officer that the preceding day she went to a local gas station and left her purse in her friend's) car while she went into the gas station.
The car was apparently parked away from the pumps and out of camera view. The victim told the deputy that her purple purse valued at $10 was stolen at this time along with prescription medications that were inside.
The victim continued to tell the deputy that she did not see anyone outside the station at the time of the theft. The deputy did make a note that the vehicle was not on the scene for processing.
March 21
Disappearing decal
7:05 p.m. Two Hundred Block of County Road 302. Larceny.
A deputy responded to a criminal mischief complaint in reference to a stolen vehicle decal. The female victim noticed that her decal was missing off her already damaged Silverado. She stated she believed her ex-husband was the one responsible for commandeering her decal but admitted that she had no viable proof supporting the allegation. The victim was given a case card and advised to contact the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office with any more information regarding the case.

7:16 p.m. One Hundred Block of Cypress Point Parkway. Larceny Shoplifting.
A deputy responded to a retail store in reference to shoplifting. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the loss prevention officer, stating he observed a female suspect conceal several makeup items in her front jacket pocket.
The suspect then left the health and beauty department and entered the grocery department. She proceeded to place food items in her shopping cart and continued to the self-checkout kiosks. However, the female suspect was still hungry. After purchasing the food items, she procured a sub from Subway before exiting the store.The suspect was apprehended in the parking lot in possession of 10 makeup items with the total value of $60.57.
