The Seven Last Words at Zion Baptist
Zion Baptist Church of Palm Coast will reflect on the passion of Jesus Christ in an Easter Wednesday night service 6:30 p.m. March 27, at 1 Enterprise Drive, Unit 7, Bunnell.. The Rev. Charlene E. Cothran will describe the Seven Last Words that Jesus spoke on the cross.

Easter services at First Church
First Church of Palm Coast will celebrate Easter events with the Rev. Roger Williams on Maundy Thursday 6 p.m. March 28, followed by a seder meal. The Seven Last Utterances of Christ will be presented by various ministers noon to 3 p.m. Good Friday, March 29, and Easter Sunday services will be held at 6 a.m. accompanied by a free brunch and a resurrection celebration will be held at 10 a.m.

PCUMC to hold Good Friday services
Palm Coast United Methodist Church, at 5200 Belle Terre Parkway, will offer two special Good Friday services in the sanctuary March 29.

At noon, a cantata of vocal and instrumental music with narration, “The Seven Last Words of Christ,” composed by Theodore Dubois, will be presented by the music ministry under the leadership of Music Director Jesse Chapman.

Special vocalists include Kassy Eugene, Jamison Walker and David Stork; narration by Ed Woods. Pianist Nancy Seigel and organist Nancy Johnson will provide accompaniment.

The evening Good Friday service, “The Way of the Cross,” will be held at 6:30 pm. With the backdrop of the hammering of nails, the service will include narration from the traditional “Stations of the Cross” as well as instrumental music, congregational hymn singing, and periods of reflection and meditation.

Good Friday and Easter Eggstravaganza at Shepherd of the Coast
Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church will hold a Tenebrae cantata 7:30 p.m. on Good Friday, March 29, at 101 Pine Lakes Parkway.

The church will also host an Easter Eggstravaganza 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 30, at the church,
There will be games, bounce houses, an Easter egg hunt, face painting, a photo opportunity and snacks.

Christ Lutheran to host Easter sunrise service at the beach.
Christ Lutheran Church will conduct the fourth-annual sunrise service at the beach 7 a.m. Easter Sunday, March 31, at Varn Park.

Christ Lutheran will also hold a 9 a.m. praise service and a 10:30 a.m. traditional service at the church, 2323 N. State St., Bunnell.

St. Thomas holds fashion show
St. Thomas Episcopal Church is hosting a spring fashion show and luncheon noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 6, in the Parish Hall.

During the show and after the show, there will be door prizes and various raffles. Cost is $20 a ticket. Call 446-2300.
