Cukoo for kidney stones

10:39 p.m. — 200 Block of South Atlantic Avenue. Trespassers. A Holly Hill man entered the hospital and complained about kidney stones. The man wanted a nurse to give him pain medication, according to the report.

When the man wasn’t given pain medication in a timely manner, according to the report, he became upset and said he was “gonna shoot something” if someone didn’t give him medication. That’s when the nurse called law enforcement.

The man was trespassed from the facility and told to return only if he had a major medical emergency.

Meat me halfway

10:46 p.m. — 30 Block of Granada Boulevard. Shoplifting. The grocery store’s manager confronted an unknown suspect as reportedly tried to leave the store without paying for meat in his shopping cart.

While the manager was trying to question him, the suspect “ducked under (the manager) and ran on foot out the door,” according to the report. The suspect then ran south on Ormond Lane.

The manager was able to get a look into the bag, he told police, and estimated there were six steaks, worth approximately $175. Two other employees witnessed the incident but didn’t see the suspect take the steaks.
