Stars take AAU title
With four players and one coach from Ormond Beach, the LBF Stars beat the Central Florida Magic 71-45 to win the AAU state championship.
The win followed a first-place finish at the Disney AAU Spring Classic tournament, where the Stars won all five of their games and beat the Naples Hoosiers 74-61. Stacy Beckton and Riley Oldham led the Stars in scoring that game with 20 points each.
Softball box score
The MsFits beat the Voodoo 10-6 April 23, in an OBYBSA softball game, in the 12- to 17-year-old division.
