Due to excessive rain, the city of Palm Coast is postponing its Arbor Day 2013 celebration and associated 5K Root Run/Walk and 1 Mile Flutter Run/Walk until Saturday, May 18.

Runners may still pick up their race packets until 7 p.m. today, Friday, May 3, at the Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway N.E. Race packets may also be picked up on the morning of the race.

The Arbor Day race and other festivities will be moved to Waterfront Park, 150 Waterfront Park Road, on May 18, when the city was already planned an event to open the second leg of Palm Coast’s QR Code Project for City trails and parks.

Additional details will be announced soon. Check back at www.palmcoastgov.com.
