FPC graduate says 'yes'

Lauren Aileen Walsh, daughter of John and Nancy Walsh, publishers of the Palm Coast Observer and Ormond Beach Observer, recently got engaged to Byron Frank Lewis, son of Tom and Cathy Lewis, of Melbourne.

The couple met in 2005 while attending the University of Florida. Both graduated in 2007 from the university with bachelor of science degrees; Walsh in accounting and Lewis in finance. Walsh is also a 2003 graduate of Flagler Palm Coast High School.

The wedding is set for Oct. 5, in St. Augustine.
