On that juice
1:11 a.m. 100 Block if Pine Hurst Place. Physical Disturbance.
A deputy responded to a call about a physical disturbance. Upon arrival, the deputy attempted to locate all parties involved. The suspect exited the residence in a loud and disorderly manner, continuing to yell and rip off his shirt while throwing it to the ground. The suspect was extremely demonstrative and flailed his arms in an angry fashion, while yelling obscenities at the deputy and other officers.
The suspect ignored all the deputy’s commands to calm down and stop yelling. The suspect was then directed to remain seated next to his friend (a witness) while the officers finished the investigation. The suspect continued to leave his seat and interfere with the deputies’ procedure and threatened an on-scene witness by stating, “Fudge that, y’all don’t be no snitch.”
The suspect’s friend advised the suspect to stop acting out and relax, but the suspect ignored him. The friend the stated, “He must be on that juice or something.”
The deputy then removed the suspect from the area. While at the patrol car, the suspect began to resist.
The suspect's resisting escalated until the deputy had to overpower him by bending his body over the trunk of the patrol car. The suspect subsequently hit his mouth on the trunk lid, causing a small laceration and a chipped tooth. The suspect was then handcuffed and placed into the vehicle. The suspect’s friend provided a voluntary statement advising the he had warned the suspect to sit down because the suspect came outside “acting a fool” and may have been under the influence. The suspect was cleared and release into the custody of his grandfather.
