Plantation Bay golfers finish first in charity tournament, and the Florida High School Athletics Association releases new districts.

'Fore' golfers from Plantation Bay take tournament
Brenda Hansen, Dannae Karins, Kathy Peters and Linda Cline teamed up to win first place in the women’s division during the 2013 Guild of the Museum of Arts and Sciences Children's Museum Golf Classic, held last month at Plantation Bay Golf and Country Club.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Children's Museum in an upcoming purchase of laptops for activities ranging from science and physics to art and paleontology.
Seabreeze baseball season ends
The Seabreeze Sandcrabs baseball team lost to Melbourne 9-2 May 7, in the first round of the regional tournament.
High school sports: New classes, new districts
The Florida High School Athletics Association released new classes and districts for soccer, golf, cross country, swimming and diving, and wrestling. Some of the new alignments can be seen below. Visit www.FHSAA.org for the full lists.
Soccer:
Seabreeze will play in Class 3A, District 6, which will also include Deltona, Edgewater, Matanzas, Pine Ridge and Taylor.
Mainland will play in Class 4A, District 5, which will also include East River, Lake Nona, New Smyrna Beach and Oak Ridge.
Father Lopez will play in Class 1A, District 3, which will also include First Academy-Leesburg, Lake Mary Prep, Orlando Christian Prep, St. John Lutheran, The Master's Academy and Warner Christian.
Cross country:
Seabreeze and Mainland will play in Class 3A, District 5, which will also include Gainesville Lake Weir, Matanzas, New Smyrna Beach, Pine Ridge and Vanguard.
Father Lopez will play in Class 1A, District 6, which will also include Circle Christian, First Academy-Leesburg, Geneva, Lake Mary Prep, Orangewood Christian, Mount Dora Bible, The Master's Academy and Warner Christian.
Golf:
Seabreeze will play in Class 2A, District 10, which will also include Atlantic, Bishop Moore, Edgewater, Jones (boys only), Lake Highland Prep and Poinciana.
Mainland will play in Class 3A, District 4, which will also include DeLand, Flagler Palm Coast, Forest, New Smyrna Beach, Spruce Creek, University, Vanguard and West Port.
Father Lopez will play in Class 1A, District 9, which will also include Crooms, First Academy-Leesburg, Lake Mary Prep, Mount Dora Bible and Trinity Christian (boys only).
