It’s crunch time for the 26 teams competing in the Flagler County men’s slow-pitch softball league, as playoffs are underway.
Ten teams compete on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 16 teams compete on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
With the regular season finishing up on Monday and Tuesday, playoffs began on Wednesday and Thursday.
The playoff tournament, which is double-elimination, will take place through the end of the month, with the finals scheduled to be played the week of May 21.
But once men’s season is finished, there’s no time off for summer.
Coed season will begin the week of June 3, with leagues forming for Mondays and Wednesdays as well as Tuesdays and Thursdays. An organizational meeting was held this week, but teams are still allowed to sign up.
