$10, $100, what's the difference?!
12:06 p.m. — 2000 Block of Granada Boulevard. Fraud. A woman entered the store and tried to deposit a $100 bill onto a prepaid debit card, an employee told police.
While inspecting the bill, the employee noticed the texture didn’t feel right. He also noticed the bill used to be a $10 bill, he told police.
The suspect told the witness and the store’s manager she got the bill from Money Gram and would contact them to handle the situation. The suspect left the counterfeit bill at the store and left.
The simple 'beer' necessities
11:14 p.m. — 100 Block of Nova Road. Shoplifting. The suspect entered the store, grabbed a package of mayonnaise and put it in a white plastic bag, the witness told police.
The suspect then walked to the cooler in the back of the store and grabbed four 16-ounce cans of Natural Ice beer, valued at $3.99 each, put them into the same white bag and walked out of the store.
The witness told police he called out for the suspect to stop, but he ran out of the store and took off in an unknown direction.
