A man reported that he attempted to file his taxes, but he was rejected. He found that someone else was using his Social Security number. The Social Security Administration advised him that someone created an online service March 21. The unknown person used his identity to have funds put into an account. The man requested a block to be placed on his Social Security records.

The $2,000 son she never had
5:15 p.m. 1000 block of Justice Lane. Fraud.
A woman received a call at work from an unknown male claiming to be her son. The man was calling from Tampa, where her son is residing. The man explained that he had a gambling problem and was in trouble, needing money immediately because he was being followed on I-95. The woman believed at the time it was her son and agreed to give him $2,000. She left the money on the front seat of her vehicle at a local fast food restaurant and went inside as the man advised. Later that day, she called her son, and he stated it was not him.

Ghost burglar
3:15 a.m. First Block of Patricia Drive. Burglary.
At a local gym, a deputy found that the window to the main office was off its track and open. He made entry into the building only to find negative results of an intruder. The emergency contact and employee advised the deputy that no employee would enter through the window, and nothing was missing from the office.
U-turned right into it
7:43 p.m. 1200 block of Belle Terre Parkway. Narcotics.
A deputy stopped a Silver 2002 Acura RSX for making an illegal U-turn. A canine sniff of the vehicle was done at the deputy's request, resulting in a positive indication of drugs. One oval blue pill, which was identified as Amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine, was found in an Advil bottle. The man was arrested.

Tennis and spray paint
10:10 a.m. First block of College Court. Property Damage.
A man went to a local park to play an hour of tennis. When he returned from the tennis courts, he found his 2003 black Hyundai Sonata covered in multicolored spray paint. The man explained the only other people he saw in the park were a group of motorcyclists. The estimated cost of the damage is $3,000.
