'Cash' me if you can
12:15 p.m. -- 1600 Block of U.S. 1. Suspicious incident. A hotel cleaning lady found a small bag filled with what appeared to be ripped up $50 bills, stuffed behind a dresser.
She took the bag to the front desk worker, who notified police. The last person to have stayed in the room was a woman with a child.
The front desk worker said she wasn’t positive if anyone else may have stayed in the room the previous week.
Florida-hater strikes back
10:34 p.m. -- First Block of Ocean Shore Boulevard. Simple or aggravated assault. The victim and a friend were sitting in a car in a restaurant parking lot when the suspect pulled beside them.
The suspect asked if she could ask the victim and her friend a question, according to reports, and when they asked what it was, the suspect said, “What is wrong with everyone in Florida?”
The suspect then got out of her car, walked to the passenger side of the victim's car and grabbed the victim's arm, her friend told police. Then, the suspect got into the car and grabbed a bottle of hand sanitizer, the friend said, and squirted it on the vehicle and on the victim.
The suspect then tried to grab the victim’s cell phone before getting back into her car and driving away.
