Investigators with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who was seen on a home video surveillance system attempting to break into a car parked in the victim’s driveway.

Detectives said the incident occurred around 3 a.m. Oct. 25, in the area of Cimmaron Drive and Comanche Court.

The man was observed attempting to make entry into two vehicles parked in the victim’s driveway and then walking up and looking into a surveillance camera outside of the residence.

The man returned to the home around 4:30 a.m., at which time he stole the outside video camera.

The man is described as a white male in his 20s with long, curly hair. Investigators believe that he may live in the area where the theft occurred.

Detectives are asking that anyone with information on this incident to contact Detective Roger Spires at 586-4801 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS (8477). Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
