Solid gold: Palm Coast gymnasts earn 7 gold medals

Palm Coast Gymnastics took home seven gold medals this weekend at its host event, the third-annual Summer Salt Invite, held at Flagler Palm Coast High School.

The girl with the most gold was Skylar Maxwell, who not only claimed first on level 3 bars with a 9.1 and floor with a 9.275, but was also named the level 3 all-around champion with a cumulative score of 35.525.

Other first-place winners from the gym are as follows: Andie Tice, level 2 floor with 9.30; Trinity Toro, level 2 bars with 9.25; Tori Phillips, level 2 floor with 9.3; and Bergyn Baliton, level 3 bars with 9.15.
