The annual Creekside Festival will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, and Sunday, Oct. 13. Admission is $5 per carload or $3 with advance purchase from the Flagler County Chamber.

The entertainment schedule is as follows:

Bluegrass gospel concert hits stage at Flagler Beach UMC
The Andrews Family Band, one of the six bands playing at the Creekside Festival in Flagler County next weekend, will also put on a bluegrass gospel concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at Flagler Beach United Methodist Church, 1520 S. Daytona Ave., Flagler Beach.

Admission to the event is free, with an offering made during the concert.

The Andrews Family Band includes father, Steve, and his two sons, Brian and Michael Andrews and special guest, Ivey Perkins.

Members of the band are Florida and Georgia state champions on mandolin, banjo and guitar and have played at churches and bluegrass festivals throughout the state.
 

Letters from Home starts Trinity concert season
Trinity Presbyterian church will kick off the 2013-14 concert season with Letters From Home 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13.

Step back into the 1940s with this timeless music. Special recognition will be given to World War II veterans. Veterans of all wars past and present will be honored, so bring your favorite veteran(s) to enjoy this upbeat show.

Tickets are available at the church office and Aimee’s Hallmark in Palm Harbor Shopping Center.
Tickets cost $15.
