Buffington's spices up its menu
The Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce helped Buffington’s Bar and Grill, at 500 W. Granada Blvd., celebrate its six-month anniversary with a ribbon-cutting last week, where owners and brothers Joshua and Chris Buffington announced changes to the menu.
“We’re getting in angus tenderloins to cut our own fresh filet mignon,” Joshua Buffington said. The restaurant has also added dessert and seafood choices and now features live music on Saturdays.

BETNR Construction tallies 20th year
BETNR Construction Corp. Inc., of Ormond Beach, celebrated its 20-year anniversary of incorporation in Florida this month. The company specializes in the design and construction of commercial and industrial buildings and has built many local custom residential homes.
Some of the companies local projects include Hudson Technologies, Hull Point Business Park and Oak Point Business Park, in town.

Florida boasts most international sales in country
International real estate deals accounted for 8% of all existing homes sales in Florida over a one-year period ending in July, according to Florida Realtors. These foreign buyers, who live only part of the year in the United States, typically use the properties they buy here as rental or vacation units.
Nationwide, 61% of all reported foreign sales take place in either Florida, California, Arizona, Texas or New York, and of those five states, Florida has the largest share. A total of 23% of all national sales to foreign buyers closed in Florida.
Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour coming
The Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour coming next month to Daytona State College is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs and current business owners seeking to re-energize. It is set for Nov. 13 in the Mori Hosseini Center, 1200 W. International Speedway Blvd.
