ECN begins work on new home
Emergency Communications Network began demolition this week on the interior of its new corporate headquarters, the Reflections One Building at 780 W. Granada Blvd. Commercial Construction Inc., of Daytona Beach, is the general contractor.
A crew has begun the removal of several walls and ceilings on the second floor. Demolition is expected to take about two weeks, with construction to begin after plans are approved by the city. ECN will relocate staff from its three current facilities in the Airport Road Business Park beginning in late February.
Command Medical Products hosts manufacturers’ conference
The Florida Medical Mfg. Consortium, a state-wide trade organization based in Tallahassee, held a meeting Oct. 24 in Ormond Beach, the first time it has met on the east coast of Florida. More than 40 people attended.
Command Medical Products hosted the event at Riverbend Country Club. David Slick, president of Command Medical, said the meeting was beneficial because it introduced the association to companies in this part of the state. The topic of the event was how the Affordable Care Act will affect the medical-products industry.
Professional financial symposium: Nov. 6
The Community Foundation of Volusia-Flagler has announced a Nov. 6 financial symposium, for financial professionals to earn continuing education credits. Fee: $20, which includes breakfast. Registration starts at 8 a.m., at Holiday Inn LPGA, 137 Auto Mall Circle, in Daytona Beach.

Tracy Dillon now at WROD
Tracy Dillon now has a new morning show from 6 to 10 a.m., featuring the music of the 50s, 60s and 70s. She will provide community news and information, live interviews and public service announcements. The show is on 104.7 FM WROD Radio.
Dillon has more than 20 years of broadcast experience and formerly serves as morning host at WHOG.
Dream Kitchen and Baths hires designer
Dream Kitchen and Baths has announced that Lexi Lyden, a native Floridian, has been hired as its new designer. Lyden is a fourth-generation Ormond Beach resident with 14 years of interior-design experience. Dream Kitchen and Baths opened in 2011.
Agents join Adams, Cameron & Co.
Kelly Jenkins-Dunphy has joined the firm of Adams, Cameron & Co. Realtors Jenkins-Dunphy graduated from Seabreeze High School and later opened business-networking and busies-resource companies.
Also joining the firm is Linda Hudak, an area resident for more than 30 years. She has bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Central Florida.
