Hands in the cookie jar.
9:03 a.m. Five Thousand Block of John Anderson Drive. Larceny. The deputy arrived at the residence and spoke to a man that said someone has had their hands in his cookie jar. Instead of cookies, the jar, which is kept on his fridge for safe keeping, housed hydrocodone medication.
The man stated he had noticed some missing pills before, so he started keeping count. Previously, he found that about 100 pills were missing, but he never reported the incident.
Keeping the meds in the cookie jar, he noticed two bottles were missing, with each bottle containing 90 pills.
The man added that he knows his grandson didn’t take the pills and that he thinks one of his grandson’s friends is the culprit. The grandson told the deputy that he does have friends stay at the residence alone from time to time and that he hasn’t heard any of his friends talking about stealing the medication. The grandson added that if he does hear talk of the pill thieves, he’ll notify the Sheriff’s Office.

Boating or burst.
9:19 a.m. First Block of Lloyd Trail. Larceny from boat. A deputy arrived at the scene of the crime and spoke to a man who said someone stole the fuel tank from his boat, sometime between Saturday and 8 p.m., and 5 a.m. Sunday.
The man said he finished installing the fuel pump on the boat at about 8 p.m. that Saturday and went inside to go to bed. The man woke up at about 4:30 a.m. the next morning and started getting ready to go fishing. The man said he heard a vehicle pass his house about 4:45 a.m., but he didn’t think too much about it. When the man walked outside, ready for the morning catch, he noticed his six-gallon fuel tank, fuel lines and six-gallons of fuel M.I.A. The man said his tow strap was also damaged in the process.
The man stated after he noticed the items missing, he still took the boat out for the day, therefore, the boat was not processed for evidence.

Don’t tase me, bro.
1:44 a.m. Four Hundred Block of Woodpecker Lane. Threats. The deputy responded to the location, where a woman said there was a verbal disturbance earlier in the night. She said she was asked to be at a nearby bar in the campground while they close for the day.
While there, she said a man was there making threats toward people. The woman said the man didn’t threaten her, but he did threaten her friend who was intoxicated and sleeping at the time of his call. The woman said the man who was making threats also had two tasers on him.
While the deputy spoke with the woman, the campground property controller arrived at the scene and asked for the man to be trespassed.
The deputy made contact with the man and he said other people were threatening him. The man added that the only thing he said was that if people were going to threaten him, they could go to his house to do it - he also said he didn’t have any weapons and doesn’t own any tasers.
The man was served a trespass warning.

Leaving a bread crumb trail.
3:09 p.m. First Block of Round Thorn Drive. Burglary-Residential. The deputy responded to the scene of the crime after a woman called dispatch after her landscaper notified her of a broken back window to her home.
The deputy saw one of the windows of the back doors completely smashed. Once another deputy arrived on the scene and the house was cleared of from having anyone inside, they noticed damaged drywall, thrown food and broken furniture. The woman, who lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, haven’t been to the home since March and told the deputy that their landscaper notified them of the window damage and a can of food laying in the backyard. The landscaper, who was unavailable for contact from the deputy, said he didn’t enter the home.
The deputy verified that a flat screen TV was stolen, but the woman said her husband would go down to verify if any other crimes has occurred. Tire tracks were taken from the scene, which appear to be from the landscaper and another truck that drives on the property.
