Ormond Beach kids will have a chance to reel 'em in this Saturday at the City of Ormond Beach's "Reel in the Fun" free kids fishing tournament.

Kids ages 4-12 will fish in thirty teams -- each made up of one or two children accompanied by one adult -- from the pier at the Bailey Riverbridge Gardens at One N. Beach Street in Ormond Beach.

Teams will be divided by age.

Contestants must provide their own fishing tackle, and children must have an adult with them. Fishing is catch and release only.

Teams will meet at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 7, and the fishing will begin at 9 a.m. and end 11. Prizes will be awarded at 11:30.

The competition is open to Ormond Beach residents only, and registration is required.

To learn more or register, call the Leisure Services Registration Office at 676-3250, stop by the office at 399 N. US 1 or visit www.ormondbeach.org
