Now that’s a dirty crime
7:58 p.m. — Sandy Springs Road and Tymber Run. Suspicious Incident. A police officer, after getting a report of three men running around a construction site, saw an older model Ford F-150 parked in the site. He put his spotlight on the truck and it began to drive away. The officer attempted to drive around a large hill of dirt and lost view of the truck.
Another police officer later found the truck in the 300 block of Tymber Run. The three men inside the truck, all covered in dirt, said they were just horse-playing in the construction site and didn’t do anything criminal.
The driver said he got nervous when he saw the patrol car, which is why he drove away. The officer explained that he could prosecute, but all three apologized, so he kindly let them go.

Want some coffee with that creamer?
3:38 a.m. — 600 Block of South Nova Road. Trespassers. The police officer observed two convenience store customers arguing with the store’s clerk, who said the two come in regularly and take French vanilla creamer without buying coffee. That morning, he found the entire box of creamer gone.
The two suspects were banned.

'Let’s go mattress surfing'
3:56 p.m. — 100 Block of Heritage Circle. Suspicious Incident. A witness saw five men load a mattress into a truck at a foreclosed property and assumed a burglary had occurred. The officer found the truck with the mattress at a different house on the street, and one of the men said the mattress was used for surfing down hills and they stored it on the porch of the foreclosed home to keep it out of the rain.
They were told to stay away from the foreclosed property.

Shopping cart shuffle
12:26 p.m. — 1500 Block of West Granada Boulevard. Trespassers. The suspect was seen taking a shopping cart full of merchandise from a person who had just entered the bathroom, then taking it straight to the returns counter.
Upon seeing an officer, the suspect left the cart and began walking back and forth in different parts of the store, apparently searching for an exit. Officers cornered the suspect, who admitted to attempting to defraud the store. She was banned from the store.
