A Bunnell man was killed late Thursday night in a single-car crash off County Road 2006, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
Claude John Pellicer, 31, was traveling eastbound on County Road 2006 at a high rate of speed, according to the report.
For unknown reasons, Pellicer lost control of his 1997 Ford SUV and began to rotate counterclockwise before overturning several times along the north shoulder of the road, the report states.
Claude was then ejected from the vehicle as it continued to overturn into a water-filled ditch. Claude was located underneath the vehicle when it came to a final rest, the report states.
Alcohol involvement is pending, according to the report.
