Investigators with the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit and SWAT served a search warrant shortly after 12 p.m. Friday at 6 Raeitan Way, in Palm Coast, where they eventually arrested on Palm Coast man on various drug charges.
Michael Lee Marsh, 30, of 6 Raeitan Way, was charged with manufacturing or possessing methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Marsh was transported without incident to the Flagler County Inmate Facility where he was held and later released on $5,500 bond.
The warrant was obtained following an investigation into the operation of an alleged methamphetamine lab. Once law enforcement entered the residence, they removed five people from inside the home and temporarily detained them outside while they conducted their investigation. Investigators discovered evidence of a meth lab inside a bedroom inside the home.
Personnel from Flagler County Fire Rescue and the Palm Coast Fire Department staged in the area prior to the warrant being executed, while the county’s FireFlight circled the area over the home. Once the scene was secured, law enforcement personnel and the five individuals removed from the home, were decontaminated at the scene by emergency personnel.
“Our investigators followed up on information they received and were able to shut this operation
down. It’s my belief that similar operations exist in our county, and, as we identify them, we will be moving in to shut them down and arrest those involved in the operation,” Sheriff Jim Manfre said in a statement.
However, Marsh was arrested again Saturday morning on other drug charges with two other subjects, but he was released again on $1,500 bond, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office’s website.
