Jim Miller (left) has been leading the orchestra since 1990. A mix of ages, the group plays songs from the 1930s-60s.

Deep sounds billow from the trombones, and sharp notes wail from the trumpets, as musicians play for the VFW crowd.

Attendees slowly strolled and swayed around the dance floor to the sounds of Jim Miller's Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra.
