The Flagler County Sheriff’s P.A.L. and Florida Hospital Flagler will host a Hot Pursuit 5K and block party Saturday, April 19 at the European Village.

“This event is part of the City of Palm Coast Race Series and we encourage all youth to put on their running shoes and join in on the fun,” Sheriff James L. Manfre said in a Sheriff’s Office news release.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m., with music, special offers from European Village restaurants and Easter activities for children.

“Florida Hospital Flagler is a proud supporter of P.A.L., and we are very excited to partner with them to promote healthy exercise and encourage family activity,” Florida Hospital Flagler Administrative Director John Subers said in the news release.

The Flagler Sheriff’s P.A.L. coordinated programs and activities “which contribute to the character, integrity, physical and mental fitness, citizenship, sportsmanship and personal well-being of Flagler County’s youth” to promote values and reduce youth crime, according to the news release.

Registration for the 5K is $25 now through April 15 or $30 the day of the race. Participants under 18 will get a $10 student discount. Sign-up is also available 4:30-7 p.m. April 18 at the European Village.
