More than 300 people came out Thursday evening for the Flagler Restaurant Week VIP Kick-Off party, at Marineland.
The celebration and launch party for the inaugural Flagler Restaurant Week, a new culinary celebration replaces its one-night-only predecessor, the Taste of Flagler.
Flagler Restaurant Week is designed to showcase the restaurants, chefs and talent that make up Flagler County’s gastronomic scene. The event, which runs April 25 through May 9, allows residents and visitors to explore different restaurants with special prix fixe menus, or try something new at their favorites.
There are no passes, tickets or coupons, diners simply visit participating restaurants over the nine days. When ordering from the special menu, diners will receive a complimentary frequent-eater punch card to be stamped at the various eateries. The more the punches they receive, the better the chances at winning the #flaglerfoodie award. Participants can also vote for best entrée, best restaurant and best server at flaglerrestaurantweek.com. Awards will be given out in May, as part of Palm Coast and the Flagler Beaches’ Tourism Week Celebration and annual HEROES Awards Ceremony.
