PCUMC outdoor music festival rocks the North campus

Palm Coast United Methodist Church held its inaugural AMP It Up! outdoor music festival Aug. 2, at the church’s North Campus in Palm Coast.

The event brought together the music of Palm Coast’s NeVaeh band along with Elvis tribute artist Randy Walker and the Ethan Parker Band for a day of amped up worship and fellowship.
 

Local leader completes national service program
Palm Coast resident Alyson Bonner graduated from AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps July 24, wrapping up 10 months of community service nationwide. This ceremony marks the 20th graduating class since the inception of AmeriCorps NCCC.

Bonner was one of 234 AmeriCorps NCCC members honored at the Pacific Region campus located in Sacramento, California. During their term of service, corps members completed over 130 projects. Corps members worked on teams of 10-12 and were deployed throughout the western part of the country, including California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.
