Deputies arrested 14 people on drug charges and are seeking nine more after carrying out a three-month long investigation that culminated with a warrant sweep Dec. 10.

Officers from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit and SWAT Team, the St. Johns County SWAT Team, and the Bunnell Police Department served search warrants at four Bunnell homes, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release. The agencies called the operation “Operation Home for the Holidays.”

They seized $6,148 in cash, as well as 117 grams of crack cocaine, 7.5 grams of cannabis, 45 Oxycodone pills, 7 Hydrocodone pills and 19 Dilaudid pills. The estimate street value of the drugs is about $10,000.

A number of those arrested are “considered habitual drug offenders,” according to the release. All of people arrested in the sweep were charged with selling drugs, including marijuana, crack cocaine, hydromorphone, oxycodone and counterfeit controlled substances.

“Following a 3-4 month long investigation into the sale of illegal narcotics, 23 people were sought in today’s operation including two juveniles,” Sheriff James L. Manfre said in the news release. “This operation, like others we’ve had, is designed to make our community safer for the holiday season,” he added.
