Local attorney Dawn Nichols was appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court.

An Ormond Beach attorney has recently taken a step into the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court.
Gov. Rick Scott appointed Dawn Nichols, a marital and family law attorney, to the court Jan. 30.
“Dawn’s family law experience will serve the citizens of the Seventh Circuit very well," Scott said. "I am proud to appoint her today, and I am confident that she will make a great addition to the Seventh Judicial Circuit bench.”
Nichols has practiced with Nichols & Ahmed P.A. since 1996. She received her bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Florida.
