We're all set up at Eastern Florida State College, in Melbourne, for the Class 5A semifinals match between Flagler Palm Coast (15-6-4) and St. Thomas Aquinas (18-3-2).
The Lady Bulldogs are led by a plethora of goal scorers, including Christen Barney (22 goals), Sara DiLoreto (14 goals), Madison Hald (14 goals), and Tanagna Payne (14 goals). Junior keeper Leah Leach has allowed 26 goals in 26 games (a 1.00 goals against average).
Flagler Palm Coast has scored 88 goals and allowed 37.
St. Thomas Aquinas has tallied 99 goals and allowed just seven, including three shutouts in the state playoffs.
In three playoff games, FPC has outscored opponents 7-2. St. Thomas Aquinas has outscored its opponents 13-0.
We're about 25 minutes away from kickoff. The winner of this game will advance to play in the Class 5A finals at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
