'Water' you complaining about?
8:42 a.m. — 300 Block of Tymber Run. Vandalism. The victim, a representative of a utility, told police he had an ongoing issue with the suspect about water bills. He said that, in July, the utility placed a lock on the suspect’s water meter and turned off the service for nonpayment. The suspect then cut the lock off and turned his water back on.
In December, the utility again turned off and locked the meter, and the suspect again cut off the lock and turned the service back on. This time, he placed the lock in the night deposit at the utility with a Christmas card attached.
The utility once again in February turned off the service and placed a lock on the meter. This time, the suspect cut off the lock, turned on the water and placed his own lock on the meter so it could not be turned off.
The police officer, along with the victim, contacted the suspect and the suspect said he had not been notified of a delinquent payment. The officer told him that the bill is a civil issue but damaging property is a crime. The suspect then gave the victim a check for $232.86, which included past-due water bills and the cost of a damaged lock. The water was left on.

An inside job?

A key is needed for access to the control box. The station manager told the officer that the pumps are only opened to replace the paper for the receipts.
The officer asked for the videos from the surveillance cameras at the station and said he will follow up after they are received. He also collected a possible fingerprint from the casing. There are no known victims.
