Hudson Technologies hires new director
Paul Shacklady has joined Hudson Technologies as the director of manufacturing engineering. He comes to Hudson Technologies with more than 25 years of manufacturing experience, most recently in Spokane, Wash.
Shacklady and his wife reside in Palm Coast.
Hospital names human resources director
Opal Howard has been named the human resources director for the five Florida Hospitals in Volusia and Flagler counties, including Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, in Daytona Beach. Howard has been with Adventist Health System, Florida Hospital’s parent company, for 23 years.
Halifax Health offers caregiver support line
Halifax Health is now offering a free Caregiver Support Line for residents who are providing long-term care for loved ones. The support line is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Calls received after hours will be returned within 48 hours.

Century 21 spotlights agents
The Century 21 Sundance Realty Ormond Beach office recently announced awards for 2013. Top Lister was awarded to Hella Rominger; Top Sales and Quality Service went to Harry Parker; and the company's Top Producer was John Inman.
Quality Service Pinnacle Awards went to Jonathan Styles, Hella Rominger and Alisa Rogers.
Local Internet radio station recognized
Daytona’s Surf has been given the recognition of “Editor’s Pick” by Windows Media Guide. The station began operation in Daytona Beach in December.
