Meghan Wright, 55, of Ormond Beach, died in a crash on Ocean Shore Boulevard Sunday.

A 2007 Jeep SUV, driven by Ormond Beach’s Jeannine Poole, 54, was traveling northbound on Ocean Shore Boulevard Sunday night. The jeep drove into the direct path of a 2002 Honda Moped, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report, causing a fatal accident.
The moped was driven by 55-year-old Meghan Wright, also of Ormond Beach. Wright's vehicle struck the right side of the jeep, according to the report, and Wright was pronounced dead following the collision.
Wright was wearing a helmet. Poole had no injuries reported.
The crash is still under investigation.
