Truck ruckus
9:56 p.m. — First Block of Pine Valley Circle. Disturbance. The victim came home to find the suspect’s truck parked in his driveway, so he sent the suspect a text telling him to move it or he'd have it towed. The suspect responded angrily, and with copious amounts of obscenities. So the victim called the cops.
When the police officer arrived at the suspect’s house, he found he was hosting a party. The suspect said his son had parked in the driveway and didn’t think it would be a problem. The vehicle had been moved prior to police arrival.
The men were told to avoid each other. The suspect’s wife got upset because she said the police officer rolled his eyes at her and she felt like he was accusing them of something. The officer said he only wanted their side of the story. She asked for the officer’s business card.

'I definitely, maybe have the money'
11:29 a.m. — 300 Block of West Granada Boulevard. Information. The victim said $60 to $80 was missing from his money clip. He said he was in a store checkout line when he remembered there was something else he wanted to look at, so he set the items down along with his money clip.
When he returned, he realized he didn’t have his money clip. He thought he might have left it at home, so he left the store to look for it and, while back at home, the store called to say they had the clip. He returned to the store and tried to pay for his item with cash, but he was short $40. He said he knows the money was missing.
According to the store clerk, the victim came to the cash register and attempted to pay for an item but couldn’t because he didn’t have enough cash. She said he had his money clip the entire time and didn’t set it down. He went home to get more cash, not look for his money clip. When he returned to the store, he still didn’t have cash and paid with a credit card.
The victim told the officer he had a “senior moment” at the store and it’s possible he did not have the money to begin with.
