A Tea Party group will hold a presentation on common law grand juries 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, at the Flagler County Public Library, at 2500 Palm Coast Parkway N.W., according to a press release from St. Augustine Tea Party Government Accountability Chairman Joaquin DeMoreta-Folch.

The event will begin with a one-hour video presentation, followed by a vote to create a common law grand jury in Flagler County. Participants will then be invited to register for the common law grand jury.

The event will end at 4:30 p.m.

Tea Party groups have organized across the nation to form “common law grand juries,” but legal experts say such groups, if formed, would have no legal standing.
