The Flagler Beachfront Winery has added tapas plates and tapas boards, with a variety of cheeses, to its menu, in addition to completing four new wines.
Owners Ken and Kelly Tarsitano selected cheeses that have won international and national awards to add to their menu. Each month, they plan on rotating different cheeses through the selections while keeping some favorites year-round.
January has been a cheese-loving month at the winery, with cheese and wine pairing each week. The next one will be Jan. 26 and pair the espresso lavender cheese with the merlot. Each month, the winery will focus on a different Sunday food pairing. In February, the pairing will focus on cupcakes, cookies and caramels.
Since opening almost a year ago, the Flagler Beachfront Winery has sold out of eight wines and recently released a new merlot, cabernet sauvignon, sauvignon blanc and a Riesling.
