Charles Nelson's verbal commitment will become official when he signs his National Letter of Intent on Feb. 5 (National Signing Day).

Seabreeze’s Charles Nelson is headed to the Pacific Northwest.
Nelson said Monday night that he has committed to the Oregon Ducks. He chose Oregon over USC, Notre Dame and West Virginia.
Nelson visited Eugene over the weekend.
"It just felt a lot like home, and I felt comfortable there," he said.
The 5-foot-9, 175-pounder claims to run a 4.3-second 40-yard dash, according to hudl.com.
He played offense, defense and special teams while at Seabreeze. In December, Nelson said he was being recruited as a slot receiver and a kick/punt returner.
During his senior season, as he continued to recover from a major knee injury, he compiled more than 1,000 all-purpose yards and nine touchdowns. He’s dangerous anytime he gets his hands on the ball. And that’s why colleges were recruiting him for offense and special teams, not defense.
Nelson can officially sign his letter of intent on Feb. 5 (National Signing Day). That would make her verbal commitment binding.
