Homes For Heroes honors local heroes — like police officers, firefighters, teachers, EMTs, health care workers, active and retired military, and other people who have dedicated their lives to serving others — by and offering them large discounts and rebates when buying, selling, or refinancing a home.

Hair Cuttery salons to give free haircuts to the homeless
Palm Coast Hair Cuttery salons has partnenerd with other organizations to provide free haircuts for the homeless, according to a Hair Cuttery press release.
For each person who gets a haircut at the salon February 4-5, a free haircut certificate will be donated to a homeless person in the community through local organizations like the United Way and Salvation Army.
The project is an evolution of the salon’s annual August Share-A-Haircut program, where for every child’s haircut purchased, one in turn is donated to a disadvantaged child in the community.
The August Share-A-Haircut program has donated about 725,000 free haircut certificates to children over the years, according to the press release.
The Hair Cuttery has two Palm Coast locations, at 1475 Palm Coast Parkway NW, Ste. 104 (call 446-8107) and at 800 Belle Terre Parkway (call 437-2409).
