Central Park at Town Center was packed July 3 with people waiting anxiously to see if the fireworks would fly. After deliberation, the show was a go. Many people watched from their cars, some from under tents and the ones who came prepared for the rain stood with umbrellas.

Pre-fireworks family fun was provided by the Flagler County Education Foundation, Beach 92.7FM and Kix Country 98.7FM with all proceeds from food and beverage sales going to the Ed. Foundation’s scholarship funds.

“This is just an old-fashioned community get-together in the park,” said Deborah Williams, executive director of the Flagler County Education Foundation.
