Flagler Palm Coast alumnus Al Yevoli has been named to the Frontier League all-star team. Yevoli, a relief pitcher with the Washington Wild Things, has a 2.59 ERA with 18 strikeouts in 24.1 innings of work. The game will be played July 16 at GSC Ballpark in Sauget, Illinois.

Yevoli was one of three coach's picks to the East Division squad, since his name didn't appear on the ballot.

"I just look at it as an opportunity to have fun," Yevoli said. "You can't look at it is as a way to get out of here, and you can't assume (scouts) are going to be there. I honestly don't even know if I'll pitch."
