A Flagler County firefighter’s 3-year-old son was badly burned Friday when he stumbled and fell into a campfire during a family camping trip in Marion County.

Firefighter Aaron Price’s son Chase got burns on 20% of his body, said Flagler County Professional Firefighters Association President Stephen Palmer, and was airlifted to UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville.

He is expected to be there for two to three weeks.

Stacy Bennett, the wife of Capt. Richard Bennet, set up a FundRazr campaign to help the family with medical expenses.
