Detective Mark Moy was honored for his work on the February 2013 execution style murder of Zuheily Rosado, a 32 year-old, single mother of five that took place at a Palm Coast gas station. The case was actively investigated for a number of months, but eventually went cold as leads began to dwindle. Moy and several other investigators continued to follow up on the case that eventually led them to Joseph Bova as a suspect. Bova was arrested, and is currently awaiting trial on a charge of murder.
The Palm Coast Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution honored a Flagler County Sheriff’s detective with the 2014 Law Enforcement Award at a luncheon Feb. 20.
