The Flagler County Art League will present it’s Second Saturday opening reception for the “Go Coastal” fine art show 6-9 p.m. March 8, at its gallery and art center, 160 Cypress Point Parkway. The exhibit will be on display until April 8.

The March 8 opening will celebrate the beauty of these shorelines. The judge is landscape painter, Sydney Mc Kenna, from St. Augustine.

This show is sponsored by David Alfin, of Watson Realty Corp. and Exceptional Performance in Real Estate. Acoustic guitarist Greg Grant and 'Brush' Drum accompaniment of Kathi Darby will play at the opening.

Trinity Presbyterian Church welcomes new organist
Trinity Presbyterian Church welcomes Heasuk Che to the position of Organist.

Heasuk has an undergraduate degree in church music with a major in pipe organ, as well as a master’s degree in church music. Both are from the Chongshin University in Seoul, Korea. She is also an accomplished pianist and teacher.

Visitors can visit either of the traditional services, 8:15 a.m. or 11:00 a.m., to hear Che on the organ.

Submissions for the 2015 Flagler Film Festival are now being accepted. The early bird submission period will last until June 1. It is the least expensive time for filmmakers to get their films in ($15 for short films, $25 for features and discounts are available through Withoutabox.com).
